In Portuguese when we are very happy we use to say I’m happy to be born. And that’s the case today! I feel so personal rewarded, as today was my welcome day at the Guardian online newspaper in London. I was given a tour around the building checking out how this big newspaper works and how they handle many different divisions: print, online, then the tech team, the management, finances, design and for the first time, motion graphics represented by me ;).

Everybody in the building is super friendly and open minded to receive a girl like me that knows so little but wants to grab so much. As I told them, I would like to work as close as I could with the tech team. With a overall understanding about what tech can offer, but no writing code skills, I was put in a position of creative/concept developer/motion graphics producer, very close with the tech team and specially with Alastair Dant and Igor Clark. I was taken care by the hospitality of Huma, as like a mother really took care of me regarding all the details.

I feel happy and rewarded by this opportunity and this just proves, as long as you believe, everything is possible!!
